Dr. Erin Haggerty was very helpful with my right ankle sprain. She took my concerns seriously and after evaluation scheduled me for PT and an MRI. She reviewed the X-Ray with me in person and explained to me the results. She scheduled a follow-up to ensure I was healing properly and to review MRI. I was attended very quickly and would recommend to anyone!
I'd give it three stars, my doctor was very informative about my injury however the low ratings are due to the staff treatment, I felt like I was more like a bother for them. My Doctor and an other nurse staff/assistant were the friendly ones. Other than that the rest of the staff seemed annoyed towards me, I felt unwelcomed while waiting in the lobby and regarding a few questions I had.
I came to Dr. Haggerty with severe nerve pain, numbness and swelling in my left foot. She ordered an MRI and a nerve study which led to a diagnosis of tarsal tunnel syndrome. I was treated with a cortisone injection and in 5 days had a followup visit with Dr. Haggerty where she checked on the status of my pain. There was a modest effect but the pain was still severe. Since the treatment can take 5 to 14 days to stop the swelling and relieve pressure on the tibial nerve, we have a later appointment to evaluate the effectiveness and determine if other options will be necessary. I appreciate our interactions throughout this process.
